More experiments: http://grimaceworks.com/mf/lab I finally got the MIDI working on this thing and the first thing I wanted to do was to wire up the Glitch to a panel on it. This patch took me about half an hour to create - this is my first attempt to play it. It's late - I should be asleep!

Simple 1-pattern acid house track using a Roland TB-303 and a JazzMutant Lemur touchpanel controller. The Lemur is controlling the drum track with the track mute buttons on the left. The X-Y axis controllers on the right control the drum track filter and a simple white noise sweep.

Jazz Mutant's Lemur - it's a multi touch screen, midi and osc programable, musical controller. Here it is set up with a custom template I pieced together with my friend m.0 & from the template on their site - nothing to it - these are just some scrap sounds from a session we had the other night. The faders bring in the tracks and the buttons above the faders are record enable, solo, mute, and select. Everything else is pretty much set up to control whatever I might want. More to come...

This shows a new Lemurized multitouch interface I've been working on for the Molar VSTi Monome plugin created by Steve Duda. This uses a special Lemurized build of Molar that is available from Steve's website. You can find links at monome.org and jazzmutant.com. If you are interested in using other Monome applications besides Molar on the Lemur, please check out MonemurV2 on the jazzmutant site which is a general emulation of the monome for the Lemur and can be used with any applications created for the monome.

Just before the fourth verse, the song was stopped. A few things were going wrong. The giant JazzMutant Lemur console on the touch screen wasn't synced. It didn't work in Seattle either (http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=F5e190KqimA&fmt=18). Robin's guitar kept cutting in-and-out. A tech ran onstage & move the detector. Trent chats up the audience. Another look at the the sequence: in rehearsal (http://www.nin.com/echoplex.html) Apologies, the audio is really *hot* on this. Can't make out anything he said. Sorry re: the sea-sickness while watching watching too; the camera was crap @ full zoom & no anti-shaking measures.
