A vocal proponent of the idea that the war or terror
is actually World War IV, James Woolsey, former director of the CIA under President Bill Clinton, wears may hats. He is an active member of several hardline and neocon advocacy organizations, has served in a number of high-profile government posts, has advised a long line of military contractors, and is an influential presence in the U.S. media.
Melvin A. Goodman, senior fellow at the Center for International Policy and former CIA division chief, told the Washington Post that James Woolsey
is a dangerous individual.
"Woolsey was a disaster as CIA director in the 1990s and is now running around this country calling for WWIV to deal with the Islamic problem."
The Bush administration asked Ahmed Chalabi's Iraqi National Congress (INC) about this "threat".
INC provided Iraqi defector, Mohammad Harith, who claimed he had purchased refrigerated trucks to be converted into mobile biological weapons laboratories.
The INC used James Woolsey to directly contact Deputy Assistant Defense Secretary Linton Wells,
of the DIA, with info about Mohammad Harith's account to avoid any scrutiny by the CIA.
Harith's was met by a DIA debriefer who concluded that it "seemed accurate, but much of it appeared embellished" and he apparently "had been coached on what information to provide."
However, the line about Harith being coached was removed and one that he passed a lie detector added and as such became official evidence of mobile bio-labs even being used by Bush in his January 2003 State of the Union message.
Later Mohammad Harith, like curveballs evidence, was labeled with a fabricator notice.
Woolsey is a principal in the Paladin Capital Group, a venture-capital firm that, like Richard Perle's Trireme Partners, is soliciting investment for homeland security firms.
The company was set up three months after the terrorist attacks on New York and sees the events and aftermath of September 11 as a business opportunity which 'offer[s] substantial promise for homeland security investment'.
Woolsey is also vice president of Booz Allen Hamilton, which is a high-powered consulting firm and military contractor based in Virginia.
Within hours of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks upon the United States, Woolsey appeared on television suggesting Iraqi complicity.
In July 2006, he called on the US to bomb Syria.
Woolsey is featured in Thomas Friedman's Discovery Channel documentary Addicted to Oil, and in the 2006 documentary film Who Killed the Electric Car?
Douglas Feith...
DoD, NSC, JINSA, EWS, PNAC, Jesuit trained Zionist
Was, at one time, the third-ranking civilian at the Pentagon and is a lawyer with a Washington
firm representing Israeli munitions suppliers.
Under Secretary of Defense for Policy from July 2001, until he resigned from his position
Feith announced his resignation in January 2005, a week after the New Yorker's
Seymour Hersh accused him of working with Israeli officials to select potential targets for a
pre-emptive Iran strike.
USMC Gen Peter Pace, now the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, worked closely with Feith,
co-chairing with him the Defense Department's Campaign Planning Committee (CAPCOM).
It has been alleged by Former NSC Intelligence Director Vincent Cannistraro and author
Stephen Green that Douglas Feith involuntarily left the NSC in March, 1982 and lost his security
clearance after he fell under suspicion of the FBI for passing classified material to Israeli
embassy officials who were not entitled to receive it.
This would have required the Bush administration to reissue Feith his clearance before
bringing him into the Pentagon. This version of events however, was disputed by then National
Security Council head, William "The Judge" P. Clark, a devout Catholic who attended the Jesuit
Loyola Law School and also served as the US Army of Counter Intelligence Corps.
Feith is now on the faculty of the very Jesuit Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service(EWS) at Georgetown University.
