Airbus A380 made it's first landing at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) on November 26th, 2006. It made it's only North America landing in Vancouver.
So far it's known to be the worlds largest airliner.

Singapore Airlines will be the first airliner to fly an Airbus A380. It is due to enter service by the end of 2007. Once the pre-acceptance phase has been completed, the aircraft will be painted in the Singapore livery and undergo more systems analysis on the ground before its cabin first flight in the summer to test cabin system performance in the air.

Airbus A380 World Tour Report:
First A380 World Tour landing in New Delhi, India (May 6, 2007) from Toulouse. The aircraft is staying for two days in New Delhi before flying to Mumbai, headquarters of its first Indian customer, Kingfisher Airlines.
The A380 takes off from Toulouse on 1st June for its inaugural visit to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, before flying on to Tokyo, Sydney, and Taipei in the second stage of the 2007 World Tour.

As on July 20, 2007. Final preparations are underway for the delivery of Singapore Airlines first A380. Airbus has begun pre-delivery tests for the initial A380 to enter commercial service, which will be delivered to Singapore Airlines this October. Airline pilot training courses for the A380 began in June, with eight Singapore Airlines pilots starting the ground phase of the standard type rating course at their Singapore headquarters facility. Completion of the training is being done at Airbus Training in Toulouse using the flight simulator and the aircraft itself.

Hundreds of Singaporean students and local community volunteers experienced the A380 during its visit to Singapore. The aim was to test Singapore airlines readiness for entry into service of the A380.
Tension fills the air as Singapore Airlines and airport authorities (CAAS) staff make final preparations. Two days of practice, with passengers and ground operations have led to this, the final test.

British Airways will buy 12 Airbus A380 aircraft as part of the airlines' long term fleet modernisation. The announcement marks the first time British Airways has selected to introduce Airbus aircraft for the company's long haul fleet. The decision vindicates Airbus' product strategy. The A380 is a key part of the solution for sustainable growth and eco efficiency in air transportation.

Airbus has officially handed over the first A380 to Singapore Airlines in a ceremony held at its Delivery Centre Toulouse, France in the presence of over 500 guests. The aircraft was officially handed over to Chew Choon Seng, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Singapore Airlines by Airbus President and Chief Executive Officer Tom Enders in presence of Chief Executive Officer Rolls-Royce Sir John Rose. Singapore Airlines will be the first to fly the A380 on regular scheduled service.
