Tablet weaving instructor Linda Hendrickson demonstrates how to make a continuous warp. This is a segment from the DVD "Weave A Neckpiece", a visual companion to the book "Tubular Cardwoven Neckpieces". The video was produced by Victorian Video in 1996, and is now available on DVD from Linda's website.
Please note that you can attach the warping wand directly to the table -- that works just fine. Also, if you want your work to be portable, attach C-clamps to the ends of a board, and then clamp the board to the table.
"Weave A Neckpiece" is an excellent introduction to basic tablet weaving. In the DVD, Linda also shows how to arrange the tablets for several geometric designs, how to weave a flat band and a seamless tube in a structure called warp twining, and how to attach jewelry findings.
