Hall & Oates is the popular music duo made up of Daryl Hall and John Oates. The act achieved its greatest fame in the late 1970s and early-to-mid 1980s, and used a unique variety of ballad-oriented pop-blue eyed soul (occasionally mixed with dance and rock influences) to dominate the charts. The partnership is the most successful chart duo in the history of American recorded music. The videoclip "Family Man" goes for a conceptual affair. Shot mainly in a set that resembles a living room, it mostly shows the band as they lip-synch, but it also includes shots of kids as they pester H&O, and we also watch some shots of a family with matching pompadours. Inserted on top of this, we discern the romantic pursuits of a man and a woman who both intentionally look like characters from primitive video games. Mike Oldfield's song "Family Man" reached number seven and number six in March and June of 1983, respectively.

Hall & Oates: "Adult Education". Interesting imagery and props to say the least. One of the more memorable videos from my youth.

Cream Reunion Tour - May 2005 - Royal Albert Hall Eric Clapton was sick with the flu when they recorded this, but when snaps into that solo, man it's amazing. If I didn't already play the guitar, this solo'd make me want to play. Also, I hadn't noticed how much Clapton's voice had inproved since the 60's, but it's an amazing Change.

Please check my page! SUBSRIBE, SUBSRIBE, SUBSRIBE. "Dance Hall Drug" by Boys Like Girls w/lyrics-- Grown up She just turned 16 Stuck in the moment Dead at the scene And it's on tonight This is the life that you wanted, right? So turn off all the lights Dressed up just like a movie star At all the parties they'll know who you are Wouldn't it be great, to be fashionably late? So why don't you wait, till you're sedated Don't it feel like something's not right in his kiss tonight? Yeah what I'm saying is do you, do you want to lose it all? Cause this is more than just a dance hall drug You can't wait to fall in love All I'm saying is do you, do you want to learn to fly? Then you should pack it up and say goodbye Cause when the push comes to the shove It's just a dance hall drug Step in and you can lock the door The candles are lit and the clothes on the floor You could take a chance on finding romance Now you're holding hands But he's got other plans Tick-tock, the clock is turning red The room won't stop spinning and thoughts in your head And it's too late You feel like you're making a big mistake You should've waited Don't it feel like something's not right in his kiss tonight? Yeah what I'm saying is do you, do you want to lose it all? Cause this is more than just a dance hall drug You can't wait to fall in love All I'm saying is do you, do you want to learn to fly? Then you should pack it up and say goodbye Cause when the push comes to the shove It's just a dance hall drug Just wait love Show 'em what you're made of Don't it feel like something's not right in his kiss tonight? Do you, do you want to lose it all? Cause this is more than just a dance hall drug You can't wait to fall in love All I'm saying is do you, do you want to learn to fly? Then you should pack it up and say goodbye Cause when the push comes to the shove It's just a dance hall drug Do you, do you want to lose it all? Cause this is more than just a dance hall drug You can't wait to fall in love All I'm saying is do you, do you want to learn to fly? Wick wicky wicky wack On the way to the club we pass a Dairy Queen You stop cause it you know it means so much to me We take the back seats out of your mini van Now we roll like a hummer or a full size sedan Now park this thing real close to the club And feel free to break out the golden lady rug And hold my hand when we approach the bouncer I don't wanna look like a hungry camp counselor CHORUS: Cause this is how we go out In my town roll down the windows Let Reba crack the bass Wave to the hot pocket people with the smiles on they're face Waiting and wanting just a good time on the dance floor Shake it if you wanna hear more Stomp once to hear Britney Now twice for Beyonce Now three times if you wanna hear me get nasty (girl get nasty) All I wanna do is the ziga-zig ahh A little louder now cause I can't hear yea You get me hotter than a stick a hot glue And I'm scrapbooking everything we do Ring ring ring- that's my cell Bring the bling when I sing of course I will Hand it to me to get the people shocked Myspaced by my lovers can you hear my beat talken It says I love you I arrive looking good and thankfully My pants do stretch which allow me to be Free on the dance floor but not a cheap date I poured the body glitter on cause I never hesitate Now my master plan is to shock then tease Break ever heart than bust my knees Proven and groven my brand new dance Might just be the greatest in the lands Then the crowd says ahhhhhh when I do my scissor kicks Then the crowd screams ohhhhh when I do my lady flips CHORUS It's two o'clock and the club is closed Everyone's heading home I'll see you next weekend Then I get a tip about a party Three blocks away Chorus
