The video demonstrate the most commonly used override tag in TextSub - {\pos(x,y)} and then its cousin, {\move(x1,y1,x2,y2)} After each change, CTRL-ENTER is hit to see what the new change did on screen.
Note that they are simplest of commands from the rudimentary typesetting skill set. Master typesetters/karaoke specialists are actually more like programmers and computer graphic artists -- and they have an insane amount of time to learn.
Superb typesetting takes much longer time than all other fansubbing jobs and requires the most brain power ~ that's why I stopped doing it, cause I'm not just not smart or quick enough =)
