The Engineer has pretty good survivability for a ranged dps class, I found barbed wire to be a life saver. He's also great when you can find some high ground and get set up to try and pick people off. For those of you who don't know what tier 1 means it means ranks 11 and under--you can see that my character here is rank 8. Characters under rank 8 are raised to that rank in terms of health and damage dealt. You'll notice I don't have all that many abilities on my bar--that's because my character is such a low rank. By higher ranks you have a LOT more abilities to choose from. (rank This is a demonstration video, I'm not really doing very well in this video but hopefully it gives you somewhat of an idea of what the scenarios look like from the perspective of an engineer. Note that everyone in this video are pubbies and I'm not playing with any group. At the end of video I sort it by total damage dealt and kills. Note that there is also total damage healed as an option, and you healers out there get XP and Renown based on healing as well as damage.
