THIS IS CHLOE'S BEST PERFORMANCE.
Goosebumps all over.
She looks like such a tragedy.
Like she was just beaten by her boyfriend, so in desparation she takes his jacket and runs away in the rain. Her mascara looks runny. She looks like she's trembling.
It's almost poetic.
The theme is 'Parents Classic,' where the contestants sing a song made famous by their famous care-giver.
This is Chloe at her best.
I think even the Haters can watch this and go: 'Damn.'
It's beautiful from start to finish, quite a rarity when going through Chloe's list of performances.
The only thing that made me laugh out loud were the 2 misplaced contortionists who, out of nowhere, decide to stick their heads within the cameras view, and then staying there bending and doing interpretive dances like they want to reach something but a strong gale is pushing them away.
And then I think I hear a dentist drill start to whir in the background?
I tried cutting out the judges coments and the introduction, but Windows Movie Maker sucks, so unfortunately you'll have to bear through it.
But you'll get to hear (for the first and last time) judges input, get a glimpse of the other contestants and then you'll see this Ryan Seacrest impersonator trying to act like what he says matters.
Olivia Newton-John DOES sit in the audience to watch her daughter perform.
Almost all of the parents came the first night the show aired live, and they all sat together in their little 'specially reserved' section.
But after that, most of them had obligations (tours, charity events, promotional campaigns), and maybe one or 2 of them would miss the show that week.
Unfortunatley, Olivia had to go to China for 21 days so she missed this performance.
But she was right back in those chairs the following week.
