http://www.chasin.com Op maandagavond 26 november 2007 showde het Nederlandse mannenmerk Chasin' zijn nieuwe spring/summercollectie 2008 op de smaakvolle locatie het Transformatorhuis op het Amsterdamse Westergasterrein. Chasin' komt voor het voorjaar met een innovatieve en frisse collectie. De verrassende materialen en prints zorgen voor een modieuze look. Eyecatchers tijdens deze show waren de Bell Bottoms. Deze jeans uit vervlogen met losse wijde pijp geeft het algemene modebeeld weer een wat lossere look en feel. De wijd uitlopende pijp is komend seizoen de absolute musthaves voor elke jeansliefhebber. Chasin' liet naast deze Bell Bottom pants ook een minimalistische uniformachtige kant zien met veel grijstinten. METROPOLITAN De Chasin' man van deze zomer heeft van al het goede het beste in zich. Hij combineert moeiteloos kenmerken van verschillende stijlen en begrijpt hoe de verschillende elementen op elkaar inwerken. In een stijlvolle mix van sport met klassieke elementen en een casual touch laat Chasin' zien dat de echte metropoliet niet gebonden is aan regels. De collectie kenmerkt zich door een rijk assortiment aan grijstinten in combinatie met geel, wit en zwart. Het gebruik van techno stoffen en verschillende soorten nylon geven de collectie een minimalistische uitstraling. Dit komt het beste tot uiting in de lichtgrijze nylon trenchcoat en de uniformachtige ontwerpen. YOUNG BUCKS Als tegenhanger van "oud geld" brengt Chasin' deze zomer een nieuwe generatie: Young Bucks. Jonge mensen die van kwaliteit houden en van het leven genieten. De zogenaamde eclectic generation. De nieuwe collectie is geïnspireerd op zowel Rock als Sport en laat de modieuze kant zien van streetwear. Denk aan een jonge sportieve bomber. Voor de Young Bucks geen baggy jeans maar straight en skinny, in tegenstelling tot het algemene modebeeld. Primaire kleuren in samenspel met grijstinten geven de collectie een volwassen en sportieve uitstraling. REVOLUTION De Revolutionlijn van Chasin' laat zich het beste omschrijven als een combinatie van etnisch rebels. De ontwerpen zijn gemaakt van natuurlijke materialen die een verwassen look en feel hebben. De collectie is deels geïnspireerd op de oude indianen en op het echte Zuid-Amerikaanse gevoel. De revolutionaire grafische designs zijn afgemaakt met etnische decoraties. Actueel is het Organic-thema binnen de Revolutionlijn, wat helemaal past bij de fairtrade trend. Dit seizoen brengt Chasin' weer een aantal items van organisch katoen: Chasin' Green Series. De Organic lijn bestaat o.a. uit een jeans, t- shirts en accessoires. DENIM Waar de broek de laatste jaren het hedendaagse korset vertegenwoordigden, mag het nu allemaal wat losser. De hele uitstraling van de denims wordt deze zomer wat ruiger met minder cleane wassingen, die het beste te omschrijven zijn als new vintage. En voor de echte fashionisto's betekend dat zelfs dat de wijde pijp zijn herintreden zal maken. Tout Hollywood is al in de ban van de nieuwste jeans trend, maar ook in Nederland maakt de Bell Bottom deze zomer door Chasin' zijn herintreden en zal de absolute must have voor komende zomer zijn.

Chasin' Denim Collection Fall Winter 2007 / 2008 - Fashion Show - Catwalk. Part1 Woensdag 30 mei 2007 werd in het Transformatorhuis op het terrein van de Westergasfabriek de aankomende winter collectie van het jeanslabel Chasin' Denim gepresenteerd. Het komende seizoen laat Chasin' Denim de army look achter zich en introduceert het label een eenvoudige, cleane look geïnspireerd op de dandy's van weleer, met de nadruk op materiaalgebruik en --structuren. Maar er is ook ruimte voor een meer uitgesproken beeld, dat bol staat van krachtige kleuren, grafische prints en all-over dessins. Het wordt een kleurrijk winterseizoen, want naast de klassiekers diepzwart en chocoladebruin zien we krachtige tinten als flessengroen, dieprood, mosterdgeel en donkerpaars opduiken. De slim fit jeans is een absolute must-have voor iedere modebewuste man en ontbreekt dus niet in de nieuwe collectie van Chasin' Denim! YOUNG GUNS Rock and roll is dé muziekstroming van nu, met cultheld Pete Doherty als ultieme inspiratiebron voor ontwerpers over de hele wereld. We zien volop grafische patronen, all-over dessins en fantasy-achtige vormen -- geïnspireerd op stadskrijgers en straatkunstenaars. C.C.C: CLEAN, COLOURED & CARROT Carrot! Deze stoere denim is baggy aan de bovenkant en slank gesneden aan de onderkant. Chasin' Denim komt naast de Carrot ook met andere slim fits in gedurfde tinten als blauw en rose en met all over prints op bijvoorbeeld de back pockets. Naast black coated denims, dry denims en organic jeans presenteert Chasin' Denim ook de gelimiteerde Japanse Selvage denim, tot stand gekomen met plantaardige indigo.
