Australian Rules football celebrates 150 years in 2008 with an international carnival to be held in Melbourne and Warrnambool in Victoria, Australia between 27 August and 6th September.
Ireland won the 2002 cup and New Zealand won the 2005 cup with PNG runners up on both occasions.
As well as seeing the return of Denmark, up to 16 teams are set to compete, with new sides from China, Finland, India, Israel/Palestine (Peres Team), Sweden (and possibly Tonga) as well as multicultural sides representing Sudan, Somalia and Vietnam.
The Grand Final will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and will be televised on Fox Sports Australia.
