Jon Anderson from legendary band "YES" produced this album with Warner Music and sings in two of the tracks, this video was done for one of them: "The 2nd Pray", and it was possible thanks to the generosity of the Tony Osher Foundation & Productions + Warner Music. Heaven & Earth was born from a small group of friends that would sing in the campfires of annual reunions at the beach. Later, they all got involved in ecological activities and spiritual gatherings and the circle of friends became bigger and the songs better. "Councils of Visions" are gatherings of people of different nationalities and spiritual beliefs that have organized giant gatherings to share the knowledge of different ancient and new age traditions, among them: the Red Path of the Native American tribes, the warrior & sacred path of the Pre-Hispanic traditions of America (Olmec Toltec, Mayan, Aztec, etc.), Quartz Nature, Auto-Sustainable Living, Alternative Energy workshops and a mix of practices & wisdom from Buddism, Hinduism and Tai-Chi as well. These "Council Gatherings" became huge, sometimes up to 10,000 people camping on the middle of nowhere with months of proffesional eco-preparation for 2 weeks of Utopian Living (like a "Rainbow Festival" upgraded with conferences and a "Buring Man Festival " organization), and did several giant gatherings and rituals on different energy spots of America including pyramids and sacred chackras of the land all over the continent in which "Cielo y Tierra" participated and also played their music.(check out: Consejo de Visiones, Consejo Birregional, Rainbow Gathering, or Tortuga Island on Google) Jon Anderson heard "Cielo y Tierra" in one of his mystery magical journeys and got amazed by their music, he offered to bring them to the commercial world of music and produce for them an album, the band agreed as long as their way of working and music would be respected. "Cielo y Tierra" is: Pedro Vadhar- composition and lyrics & 4 beautiful girls: Estushia-lyrics, guitar and percusions, Angelica, Luana & Mariana-choirs and percusions. The video was shot in Amatlan de Quetzalcoatl, Morelos Mexico, (hometown of the "Great Quetzalcoatl" lider and messiah in Pre-Hispanic times) a few miles from the famous pyramid of Tepoztlan and Malinalco piramids. It is a MusicVideo-Documentary testimony of a real shamanic ritual night, held specially for the video by shamans of 3 different traditions: Hopi, Huichol and Aztec. At first, all 3 shamans rejected the idea and told director Leonardo Bondani that they would never mix their ritual with another tradition and that it had never been done, also that cameras where totally out of the question. Pedro, the girls and Leonardo asked the elders if it wasn't the time our ancestors had predicted for all traditions to come out of obscurity and be shared with the world at no delay to awaken as much souls as possible before the year 2013. An all day & night ritual that started with ceremonies for the 4 elements and dances during the evening made the setting for the night chants, drumming and a sweatlodge ceremony in which the sacred tobbaco pipes where lit, and share with the viewer how after hours of singing and dancing, this altered states of mind done in a proper & respectful way conect us all to the sacred world of love & life. Theo Van Gogh was murdered shortly after the release of his short film, Submission. Van Gogh directed the film that shows how muslim women are abused in the name of islam and allah. Van Gogh was outspoken in his thoughts about islam and he was killed for it. Mohammed Bouyeri, a muslim, was offended by the movie, and said he had to kill Van Gogh in the name of allah. Van Gogh had the right to his thought, to his opinions, and he had the right to make this film. WE must stand up and FIGHT. We will NOT submit to islam under any circumstances! These islamists are acting out more and more and think that they have the right and even the obligation to follow the teachings of the koran and to implement Sharia Law against us kaffir (non-believers). They feel they have the right to shut us up and kill us if we speak out against islam. It matters not to me that they worship a false idol, that is between them and God. It DOES, however, matter to me when they use violence and hatred to kill those that do not believe as they do. Rest in peace, Theo, your film, Submission, is awesome!

An excellent music video that aired briefly on MTV in 1994 and soon became largely forgotten. This one was filmed in B&W to produce an old-timey ambience that works very well with the ragtime sound. Pay close attention to the continuity. The whole video was filmed with a steadycam, in one continuous shot...an unbelievably difficult task that only someone like Michel Gondry could pull off. The feminine form of 'Muslim' is Muslimah (Arabic: مسلمة‎). Literally, the word means "one who submits to God". The word "Muslim" is the participle of the same verb of which "Islam" is the infinitive. Muslims believe that there is only one God, translated in Arabic as Allah. Muslims believe that Islam existed long before Muhammad and that the religion had evolved with time from the time of Adam till the time of Muhammad, and was completed with the revelation of verse 3 of Surah Al-Maeda" "This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion." The Qur'an describes many Biblical prophets and messengers as Muslim: Adam, Noah (Arabic: Nuh), Moses (Arabic: Musa) and Jesus (Arabic: Isa) and his apostles. The Qur'an states that these men were Muslims because they submitted to God, preached his message and upheld his values. Thus, in Surah 3:52 of the Qur'an, Jesus' disciples tell Jesus: "do thou bear witness that we are Muslims". Muslims pray five times a day; these five prayers are known as Fajr, Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha. There is also a special Friday prayer called Jumu'ah. Most Muslims accept as a Muslim anyone who has publicly pronounced the Shahadah, which states, "There is none worthy of worship except God, and Muhammad is His Messenger." Currently, there are an estimated 1.4 billion Muslims, making it the second largest religion in the world. Islam (Arabic: الإسلام; al-'islām (help·info)) is a monotheistic Abrahamic religion originating with the teachings of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, a seventh century Arab religious and political figure. The word Islam means "submission", or the total surrender of oneself to God (Arabic: الله, Allāh). An adherent of Islam is known as a Muslim, meaning "one who submits [to God]". There are between 1 billion to 1.8 billion Muslims, making Islam the second-largest religion in the world, after Christianity. Muslims believe that God revealed the Qur'an to Muhammad, God's final prophet, and regard the Qur'an and the Sunnah (words and deeds of Muhammad) as the fundamental sources of Islam. About the Director : Vishnuvardhan is a successful Indian film director, mostly directing Tamil language films. A one time associate of Ram Gopal Varma, Santosh Sivan and Mani Ratnam, Vishnu was a visual communication student who studied at the Loyola College at Chennai. As a child, Vishnu had also done small roles in Mani Ratnam's Anjali and later on during his teenage years, continued to do brief roles in films like The Terrorist, Fiza, Malli and Asoka. Influenced by the directing styles of Mani Ratnam and Santosh Sivan, he expressed his wishes of directing to Santosh Sivan on the sets of Asoka. Realizing his dream, Santosh agreed to accept him as his apprentice. During this period of time, Vishnu observed everything that went on behind and around the camera, from the positioning of the lights and directing the artistes and arranging the frames and sets, to the finer points of correcting the artistes and even stayed back even to clean the sets. Santosh Sivan later also took him as an associate director for films like Malli and Asoka. In an interview, Vishnu has stated that he strives to make his films look "raw and realistic". He made his debut through his own production, Kurumbu starring Allari Naresh and Diya which was a remake of a Telugu language film. The film did not do well at the box office and Vishnu was almost written off by most critics. He later came back with a bang with the immensely successful Arinthum Ariyamalum starring Arya, Navdeep and Samiksha. The film, made at a moderate budget, emerged to be one of the biggest hits in 2005. The film was produced by Geetha, a popular Malaysian radio jockey who after hearing the script from Vishnu, immediately expressed interest in making the film. Geetha and Vishnu then collaborated once more in the critically acclaimed Pattiyal which also proved to be successful. The film which starred Arya, Bharath, Pooja and Padmapriya was well known by its outstanding music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Vishnu was praised for handling a serious subject whilst still retaining the entertainment factor in the film. In an interview, Vishnu stated that in order to make the film adaptation of his nephew's story more convincing, he had to interact with real lifegangsters and had to study their lifestyle. Vishnu's next will be Billa a remake of the yesteryear classic. The film will star Ajith Kumar, Nayanthara and Namitha.
